When I first started feeling pain in my knee after running I tried to find a PT as soon as possible. I found a couple different places that might work and decided to give a few a call. There was a lot of places that give me quick and short summaries of their work, giving an impersonal type feel. Green Physical Therapy, however was not like that at all. Dr.Sarah answered the phone and right away I was impressed by her ability to make me feel comfortable. She right away explained to me in detail the steps I could take and asked in great detail my worries and doubts. Then she asked me about my motivations and I was like, “wait why is a physical therapist getting me to talk about why I run, THIS IS SO COOL.” Anyways I decided to go try it out and I got an appointment with Dr. John, he helped me discover what exactly was going on with my knee and what might have caused it. He also was very helpful in answering any questions that arose. After our insightful session he explained the next steps I could take but like everything in life good things take time. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and professional, and he took the time to listen to and validate my concerns and answer the many questions I always threw his way in a clear and concise manner. I walked away from each session learning more and more about my body mechanics and how to experience lasting change for what brought me in. I appreciated that he worked 1:1 with me for a solid hour. In addition, he made himself available outside of our appointment times to respond to additional questions I had via phone messaging.
